Born 1983. Law degree from the University of Zurich and Hamburg, magna cum laude. Completed court clerkships at the Pretura of Lugano and Horgen (ZH), then worked at other law firms in Ticino. Became co-owner of Haab Legal in Lugano in 2014.Focuses on commercial law advisory and litigation, with an emphasis on private law: construction contracts, tenancy, real estate transactions, family law, employment law, debt enforcement and bankruptcy.Languages: Italian, German, English, Spanish, French.

Roberto Haab

Founder, Attorney and Notary

Roberto Haab earned his law degree from the University of Zurich with magna cum laude. In the 1980s he founded Studio Legale Haab in Lugano, at Via Ludovico Ariosto 5, where he still practises today. His focus is civil law, particularly property rights and real estate law, with specific attention to sales transactions, easements and neighbour relations. As a licensed public notary in the Canton of Ticino, he handles real estate deeds, public wills, succession agreements, company formations and every other matter requiring a public instrument. He speaks six languages: Italian, German, Swiss German, English, French and Russian. Over the decades he has trained generations of trainees and built a solid professional network across the Canton. Today he runs the firm alongside his son Hugo.
